Our extra-curricular highlights
Creative Arts
Our small school’s Creative Arts program is second to none. Students are given rich opportunities to design, create, and perform across a range of artistic disciplines. Through regular Creative Arts Days, our students are immersed in music, drama, dance, and visual arts, working both independently and collaboratively to bring their creative visions to life. From drawing, painting and collaging to stage performances and storytelling, creativity flourishes in every corner of our school.
Gardening and Agriculture
Our raised garden beds offer students the opportunity to cultivate crops and explore sustainable food production under the expert guidance of Mr Sinclair. Students plant, water, and nurture a variety of vegetables, fruit, and herbs, learning the science and responsibility behind growing food. These hands-on experiences introduce students to the principles of horticulture and agriculture, connecting their passion for farming with environmental awareness and community contribution.
STEM and Technology
Euabalong West Public School is exceptionally well equipped for modern learning, with every student enjoying one-to-one access to laptops and iPads for seamless integration of technology across all subjects. Our technology expert, Mr South, leads dynamic and engaging lessons where students learn to code, build, design, and problem-solve using robotics and our very own 3D printer. These experiences inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, preparing our students to thrive in an ever-evolving digital world.
Trips and Excursions
Our students enjoy a rich program of excursions and camps that broaden their horizons and build confidence beyond the classroom. Working closely with our partner small schools, we offer both large shared experiences and tailored trips for our small cohorts, including visits to Canberra and Sydney, Sport and Recreation and Creative Arts Camps, and excursions to zoos, wildlife parks, and cultural landmarks that foster independence, teamwork, and lifelong memories.
